Sleepover Party Contract

1. Services

1.1 Picnic Makers provides themed sleepover experiences in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Our services include setup of themed tents, bedding, ambient lighting, and nighttime entertainment setups.

1.2 Final aesthetic details and setups are determined by Picnic Makers to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience. For fully customized events, additional fees may apply.

1.3 Sleepover events are time-specific. Clients are required to respect the schedule to ensure smooth operation.

1.4 Sleepover setups require continuous adult supervision. Unattended setups are strongly discouraged.

2. Payment and Booking

2.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The balance is due upon event setup commencement. Full payment must be received for setup to begin.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1 Events may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances or severe weather. At least 72 hours' notice is required for rescheduling, which is permitted once without fee. Subsequent rescheduling or insufficient notice will incur a $150 fee.

4. Equipment Care and Usage

4.1 All provided equipment such as tents, bedding, and decorative items are the property of Picnic Makers and must be handled with care. Misuse or damage to the equipment will result in charges for repairs or replacement.

4.2 Clients are responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment from the time of setup to the completion of the event. A detailed list of item costs is available upon request and will be used to assess any damages post-event.

5. Advertising and Promotional Use

5.1 Picnic Makers may take photographs during the event, which may be used for promotional purposes. Clients agreeing to these terms provide consent for such use, unless explicitly declined in writing prior to the event.

6. Liability

6.1 Picnic Makers is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages to property or persons incurred during the sleepover. Clients assume all risks associated with the event.

6.2 Clients agree to indemnify and hold Picnic Makers harmless from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees arising from or related to the sleepover.

7. Force Majeure

7.1 Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond reasonable control, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation (including "line-noise" interference). Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, natural disaster, war, riot, insurrection, epidemic, strikes or other organized labor action, terrorist activity, or any other event of force majeure.

8. General Provisions

8.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Picnic Makers regarding the use of the service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Picnic Makers relating to your use of the service.

8.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

8.3 Picnic Makers reserves the right to modify or replace any of these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of the service following the posting of any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

9. By booking a sleepover with Picnic Makers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
