Sleepover Party Contract

1. Services

1.1 Picnic Makers provides themed sleepover experiences in Los Angeles, Malibu, Orange County, and surrounding areas. Our services include setup of themed tents, bedding, ambient lighting, décor, and optional entertainment add-ons.

1.2 Final aesthetic details are determined by Picnic Makers to maintain consistent styling and safety standards. For custom events, additional fees may apply.

1.3 Sleepover setups require continuous adult supervision for safety. Picnic Makers will not assume responsibility for unattended minors or misuse of setup items.

2. Payment and Booking

2.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid before the event setup begins. Setup will not start until full payment has been received.

2.2 We accept payments via Stripe or PayPal (3% transaction fee) or Zelle (no fee). All deposits and payments are final and non-refundable.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellation

3.1 Bookings may be rescheduled once within 3 months with at least 72 hours’ notice. Additional reschedules or insufficient notice will incur a $150 fee.

3.2 Refunds are not available for cancellations or changes of mind. In case of illness, emergency, or uncontrollable circumstances, we will do our best to reschedule your event based on availability.

3.3 A $100 refundable damage deposit is required for all sleepover parties and will be added to the final payment. The deposit is fully refunded within 24–48 hours after pickup if all items are returned in good condition. A damaged item is defined as one that is difficult to clean, permanently stained, marked, ripped, or otherwise unusable for future events. A detailed replacement cost list is available upon request. 4. Equipment Care and Usage

4.1 All tents, décor, bedding, lighting, and accessories are property of Picnic Makers and must be handled carefully. Please avoid eating or drinking inside tents to prevent stains or damage.

4.2 Any loss or damage to equipment, including stains, tears, or missing items, will result in replacement or cleaning fees billed to the client. A detailed replacement cost list is available upon request.

5. Safety and Privacy

5.1 An adult (21+) must be present throughout the duration of the sleepover to ensure safe use of electrical lights, décor, and props. Picnic Makers staff do not stay overnight and are not responsible for supervision after setup is complete.

5.2 Personal information collected during booking (such as name, address, and contact details) is used solely for event organization and is never shared with third parties.

6. Advertising and Media

6.1 Picnic Makers may take photographs of the setup before guest arrival for portfolio or marketing purposes. Client presence will never be published without consent. Please notify us in advance if you prefer your setup not to be photographed.

7. Liability

7.1 Picnic Makers is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the sleepover. Clients assume all risks associated with the event and agree to ensure a safe environment for participants.

7.2 Clients agree to indemnify and hold Picnic Makers harmless from all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation or venue use.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Picnic Makers is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, such as illness, natural disasters, or emergencies. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your event.

9. Agreement

By booking a sleepover with Picnic Makers, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
